DWSA Team
Meet the Team
The DWSA is a branch of the British College of Canine Studies. We’ve been providing canine courses since 2010 to canine professionals in just about every profession. Students include staff and volunteers at the RSPCA, Dogs Trust, Battersea, Blue Cross, Vet Nurses, Council Dog Wardens, Trainers, Behaviourists, Kennel Staff, Police Dog Handlers and obviously, Dog Walkers and Sitters!
We created the DWSA to further enhance and influence the dog walker and sitter industries. We want to contribute to a great level of training, knowledge and safety in what is a fast growing industry and one of the most popular dog related businesses.
James
James established the British College of Canine Studies after a decade of behaviour experience both here in the UK and overseas. He qualified in France as one of the country's 150 Owner Trainers. He's also a Council member at the accrediting body, PETbc.
Elizabeth
Elizabeth is part of the overall Admin team at BCCS and was a dog walker for more than ten years. She helped set up the DWSA. Elizabeth and James married prior to Elizabeth joining the BCCS team, so we are now very much a family business!
Julia
Julia is Senior Tutor at the BCCS and a member of the CFBA. She is also a raw food advisor, microchipper, welfare consultant and working behaviourist. Julia runs a behaviour practice offering tailored one to one support. She is a raw food expert! She also works with rescue charities and gives expert comment in court cases that are dog related.
